I worked with Steve when we were both assigned to the main Central Station. He was a working street officer and I was a Detective Investigator. Great man to work with and a good officer. He will be greatly missed.....Rest in Peace, brother.....JC Modesette, HPD, Retired.....
My deepest condolences to Kari and the entire family. There will never be a band aid large enough to mend my broken heart over this large loss. Mr. Steve was the largest ray of light known on earth, I met Kari & him more than 10 years ago at Joanns and they both embraced me from the start and I love them. Mr. Steve allway had the hugest hugs for me and he constantly was in service to assist or help anyone anytime and they don't make people like that anymore and I am a better person for having known him. I will wait patiently for my huge hug in heaven Mr. Steve - Rest in Peace Sweet Kind Soul
