I am grateful for Fr Drew’s friendship, and for being a true Andrew in showing me the heart of Christ. I am blessed to have been chosen to be part of the staff as we built St Laurence Church in brick and mortar but more importantly in hearts on fire for Jesus! Fr Drew’s leadership brightened St Laurence’s star and she remains a lighthouse for all to receive grace mercy and peace. I know he will brighten heaven with his love for Christ, his amazing wit and humor and with the freedom of his essence as a Beloved Child of God. Peace and love Laura Laine
Loved his sense of humor and his cheerful spirit. We will miss Father Drew, may he Rest In Heaven.
Thank you Father Drew for leading us to the foot of the cross and we are forever grateful for Heart of Worship. Now you can sing ‘The Quest’ with the angels.
Q: What will you never forget about Rev. William?
A: I have so many things to be thankful for when remembering the life of Fr. Drew, my pastor for the past 26 years. He was a gifted homilist. He had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. He presided at the weddings of both of my daughters. He consoled me after the death of my mother. Most of all, I thank him for the gift of the Liturgy of the Hours, a daily spiritual discipline he taught me some twenty years ago. Rest in Peace of our Savior's Divine Mercy, Fr. Drew!
Fr. Drew was there for me when my husband was ill and passed away.
He was a wonderful person to know!
Father Drew married us in the Catholic Church 2001 after our marriages were annulled.
He visited me each time (3x) I was in Methodist Hospital for atypical TIAs. He came to my home when I was sick and anointed me.
He attended John's 60th and 70th birthday parties and my 60th. He was so warm and attentive to my family when they visited us.
We love him and are so blessed to know him and call him our pastor.
