Ryder David Tayrien's Obituary
Ryder David Tayrien, born October 22, 2005, in Houston, Texas, to Matthew and Hilari Tayrien, died on June 11, 2025, in Houston, Texas.
Ryder was preceded in death by his mother, Hilari, and his grandfathers, John Miller and David Tayrien.
He is survived by his father, Matthew Tayrien; step-mother, Paula Tayrien; grandmother, Linda Tayrien; grandmother “Mimi” Chelle Miller; siblings, Avery and Everett; and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Ryder was a loving son, grandson, great-grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. He was intellectually gifted and loved acting, having graduated from the Kinder Houston School of Performing and Visual Arts. Ryder loved playing video games and taking drives in his Jeep. His other pastimes included listening to and singing music, watching movies, watching anime, reading, building elaborate LEGO sets, and stand-up comedy shows. Ryder loved going to Oklahoma to see family and celebrate holidays. He attended the University of Texas at Arlington and planned to pursue a degree in Chemistry. He will be remembered for many things, including but not limited to his sensational wit, contagious laugh, and his incredibly healthy appetite for any cuisine he deemed delicious.
A Celebration of Life event will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Chapelwood United Methodist Church, 11140 Greenbay St, Houston, TX 77024.
