Robert Leslie Hardy's Obituary
Robert Leslie Hardy was born February 2, 1925, to Merrit Leslie Hardy and Clara Lucile (Buzzi) Hardy in Arkansas City, Kansas. He died on July 30, 2016, in Houston, Texas. He is survived by several cousins and many friends. He was in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He graduated from Oklahoma University with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering. He was an architect for many years with Brown & Root in Houston, Texas, and was a member of the Brown & Root Retirees Association. For many years he was an usher and member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Houston, Texas. Burial will be in the family plot in Arkansas City, Kansas. Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 19, 2016 at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 11507 Huffmeister Road, Houston, Texas. Fr. Sean P. Horrigan will celebrate the Mass.
