Dick Johnson was an extraordinary man. I had the privilege of being his law partner at Baker & Botts and being his friend for an even longer time. Dick was a brilliant lawyer and wordsmith. His legal writings were legendary. More important, Dick was a great friend and a very elegant guy. Everyone wanted to know him and to be around him. Whether we were with Dick and his super sharp wife Sandy, or with Dick by himself, it was always a special treat. We have many great memories of Dick and will treasure them as we treasure our time with him. John Connally

Latasha lit a candleI don’t have a picture to share but I shared a bunch of time with Mr Johnson that I will never forget. I hope that in the last year he enjoyed his time I’ll never forget his smile or his famous words every Friday. I’m really going to miss mister J ❤️

sarah lit a candleSending all my love to Houston and to Maine. Dick was a lovely and affable man with a great smile, a warm personality and a fun loving heart....and what a life he lived!! Well done! I always enjoyed my time with Dick and Sandy and Emily so much. I know his huge presence has left an indelible mark on you all...you are so lucky to have had him as a father and a husband.
