Dear Linden and family;
It is w sadness that I write expressing my condolences to you all.
I am in a small group w Linden and other St Theresa parishioners. Through the last over 3 years that I’ve shared weekly meetings w Linden, all in our group have come to know the deep, agape love he has shown Patty. With tremendous dignity and respect, he managed her care, visited w her every day, and was a tremendous example of what true love is expressed through his deep faith in God, mirroring, I’m sure Patty’s too. We have come to know Patty through his sharing of her to us through the years. The hole will be hard to fill for him.
I personally knew “Mrs Price” as my son’s freshman World History teacher. She was such a delight and had a real interest in my son, one that continued all four years as we saw her on campus. While visiting St Theresa parish for mass one Sunday, we visited yet again with her and she was instrumental in encouraging us to become parishioners, which we eventually did. So if our lives can be looked at as a large tapestry of people and events, Patty is a part of mine, and my children’s. She is woven into my life and made a difference for me. I will be forever thankful for that.
Peace, comfort and faith to all during this time. When Linden told our small group of Patty’s passing, he said he was joyful for her passing into eternal life. May you all find the joy in her next adventure w God.
Peace
