Another "neighborhood" mother has been lost with her passing and her generation. Growing up in Nassau Bay I knew she lovingly watched over all of us: playing sandlot football in her front yard, going to CCD classes, competing in local swim meets. She was always there. She cared, she got involved. As I look back I realize just how remarkable she was.
