I had the great pleasure to know Mr Martinez since the early 70’s having been around Paul and the Martinez family since jr high. A generous family. Both Mr and Mrs Martinez in their traveled lives gave great opportunities for young folk like me to see the world.
I can recall one of my favorite trips was a life inspiring one to travel to Venezuela and adventure around the country and experience local cultures and sights. As a project manager and engineer, the detail in which he planned our group outing was filled with urban surprises as well travel into the wild. Seeing awesome waterfalls and beautiful beaches. From sleeping in hammocks above a rising river to seeing the awesome power of one of the tallest waterfalls in the world. It left a lasting impression and passion for many of us as we have since in our lives traveled to numerous continents and countless countries.
He will be missed but not forgotten.
