Matthew, my godson, will be missed. Sharing his smile and humor warmed our hearts. He was an example a what a father, son and friend should be.
Matt is Chloe’s dad to me. Chloe and Alessi are great friends. I’ll always remember his messages: “She’s on the way now. She set an alarm and everything.”
I first met Matthew in 1993 shortly after I started dating Brent, he was 8 years old. Matthew was a precocious young boy with a huge heart, even then. Over the years I watched Matthew grow into a beautiful man and loving father to Chloe. There was no question how much he loved her and all of us, with everything he had. (and the Astro's too)
Matt, may you rest in the glory of God's kingdom and know you will deeply missed by all of us who loved you.
Matthew was a great guy and super father; full of life and ready for any adventure. He was my best friend and I loved him dearly. This is us climbing Long's Peak last September. We will reach the summit in 2026, Matt, I promise!!
