Leilani was the strongest little girl, who left such a big impact on everyone she met. Her presence was bigger than life and she touched so many people in her time here. We called her the "Queen of Sass" - I'll never forget the multiple times I would be talking about her to her mom or her primary nurses and she would just roll those big eyes. And when I'd say "Leilani, who are you rolling your eyes at?" She'd just side-eye me to say, "You know exactly who." I loved to run my hand over her hair when she was in a more benevolent mood, and give her little pep talks when she was being naughty. She always made me smile and I loved being around her and her momma, and meeting all of her brothers. They will always be like family to me. Love you, Sassy Queen

My first eye contact with Leilani was when she side eyed me as I told her “I’m going to change your diappie”…. The side eye look said it all. Followed by eye roll lol
