Kerry Michael Guidry's Obituary
Kerry Michael Guidry, 45, suddenly entered into eternal life on April 2, 2025. He is survived by his beloved children, Kaleb and Nya; the family pet, Waffles; his parents, Steven and Terry; sister, Stephanie Thomas (Prentice); brothers, Jeffrey (Jennifer) and Todd (Carolyn); and his nieces and nephews: Emerson, Jack, Bryce, Samuel, Clare, and Nora. He is also deeply mourned by many dear family members, colleagues, and friends.
Kerry was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on April 24, 1979, and was a proud graduate of St. Mary High School in Paducah, Kentucky, where he formed lifelong friendships. He went on to graduate from the University of Kentucky and earned his law degree from the University of Houston.
Kerry devoted his life to his children, always putting them first. They will forever be his greatest accomplishment and his greatest love. He was happiest watching Kaleb play basketball and Nya shine on stage.
He was fiercely loyal to his family and friends and will be remembered for his unconditional support, infectious laugh, tireless work ethic, and unending generosity. Kerry cherished the friendships he built in high school, college, law school, and his exercise classes. He was incredibly proud to be part of the Adame Garza law firm.
Kerry loved music, DJs, sports, working out, shoes, Legos, and movies. He was a cherished father, son, brother, uncle, and friend.
Services will be held on Thursday, April 10. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at noon at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 6622 Haskell St., Houston, Texas. He will be interred at a later date at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church the Brusly, Louisiana.
