Judy Baker was a truly devoted mom, sister, grandmother, daughter and mother-in-law. I recall first coming into the family in 1986 and immediately noticed the family culture, the love, the amazing holidays with a cozy atmosphere that took you back to a time of what true family was all about. Judy gave without expectations of receiving anything in return. Judy lived each day to do for others, helping others, going out of her way for others. We have lost a wonderful, God-fearing lady from this Earth, but heaven has gained an amazing angel. Until the day we all rejoice together in Heaven, thank you Judy for all you did in this world.

Judy was a sweet soul. We worked together at HPD (Crime Lab) and became friends. She was also a great asset to the Pension Office. She always made time to answer any questions and made the process of retiring so easy.

She was a proud momma and grandma. She spoke of you all often. I will miss her cheery conversations but glad to know she is no longer in pain.

May your memories of good times comfort you in the days to come.

Judy was a Godsend when it came to HPOPS matters. She always gave excellent advise. All of the times over my years at HPD she was able to help me with anything involving how to structure my pension benefits. When I retired she made the process smooth and seamless and I had the maximum benefits I could get thanks to her. I know she'll be missed a lot. HPOPS will have to hire some extra people to do what she did as well as she did it.
