Mac was our hero on the night shift when he worked in the ER
I always felt safer when he was there.
He was a wonderful man and really cared about people and doing the right thing.
I will never forget his stories and the character that he was.
I moved to Texas in 2010. He was a co worker who quickly became a friend. He was an amazing dad, friend, and human being. We had conversations that lasted hours and brought tears of laughter and occasional sadness. He came from an intense military background. I came from trauma ER and he had to walk me through a few cases which bonded us and vice versa. I will miss and love him forever. My thoughts and prayers go to his boys, his wife, and his remaining family and friends. His loss is a hard one to fathom.
