I only met Joann a couple of times, after marrying into the Luprete family, and she was always so pleasant, happy, and outgoing. Her smile was infectious and lit up the room. And I was friends with her on Facebook and always smiled whenever I saw her posts, especially about her grandkids. Those usually made me laugh out loud. Upon the passing of Donald, I always felt that he had a hand in the two of us meeting later in life afterwards as I never knew her before as our paths had never crossed, I am a better person for meeting her today in life.
