I spent the night with my cousin Adrienne at the house on Schuler Street, and on Saturday, who ever was there got their hair washed. The kitchen had a really long counter and Aun Emily would lay you on the counter with your head in the sink and wash your hair, putting a wash cloth over your eyes. That was new to me. My Mom was happy when I got home, because she had one less head to wash that Saturday. Thank you, Aunt Emily!!!!!
I remember being at Adrienne's house one day when it was raining and we wanted to play in the garage, but, the car was there. Aunt Emily, decided she could back the car out of the garage, so we could play. Well, that didn't end to well.
When you were at Aunt Emily's house, it was always fun, because she made you feel like family, with her sweet smile, and always wanting you to eat something.
Rest in Peace, Aunt Emily!! You have earned it! I love you and will miss you!!!
Peace
