Emily Kate Pham's Obituary
Emily Kate Pham - Beloved Daughter | Age 18
Emily was a bright and kind soul who embraced life with contagious joy and a gentle spirit. She entered eternal life peacefully on Wednesday, May 21, after her courageous battle with Leukodystrophy. She touched every heart with her laughter and spirit. We celebrate her life, honoring the precious moments we shared and the love she so freely gave.
Emily’s smile, boundless energy, and kind heart illuminated every room she entered. Even in the midst of her brave battle, she found joy in the small moments and inspired everyone around her with her remarkable resilience. We remember her not only for the laughter she shared but for the compassion she brought to every relationship in her life.
Her laughter and warmth live on in each memory we cherish. Though her time with us was brief, Emily’s legacy is everlasting—a reminder that love and kindness can transform difficult days into treasured moments of light.
Emily is lovingly survived by her mother, Trina Moore; father, Tommy Pham; stepfather, Robert Moore; stepsisters, Samantha Moore and Jessica Tomlinson (brother in law, Hayden Tomlinson); nieces, Piper, Marlee and Danielle; nephew, Knox; grandmother, Be Nguyen; grandparents, Mai and Binh Pham; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and grand cousins.
In addition, Emily is reunited in spirit with her heavenly sister, Josie Pham. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for the support and compassion of family, friends, and caregivers who embraced Emily with warmth during both joyful times and moments of challenge.
As we say goodbye, let us carry forward Emily’s playful spirit, her kind smile, and the love that defined her every moment. May her memory continue to inspire us and bring comfort during our time of sorrow. Today, while our hearts are heavy with loss, we are uplifted by the promise that Emily is at peace, forever part of the light that shines in our lives. Thank you for joining us in celebrating the remarkable life of our cherished Emily. May her love be a blessing to all who knew her.
** Life’s Blessings **
Life is a journey of wondering—pondering why things are as they are and what true happiness means. Happiness reveals itself in endearing smiles, the simple joy of caring for a friend’s dog, or the quiet magic of Lost Pines. For us, it came in the form of two angels.
Too often, we get caught up in the rush of life and forget that its essence lies in making our journey as joyful and meaningful as possible. Emily and Josie, thank you for filling our path with fond memories and radiant moments.
We love you girls deeply. You will forever remain in our hearts. How we wish we could be there to witness the joy of your reunion—to see your smiles light up the world once more and your hearts fulfilled as you embrace each other again. We will love you forever and always. Enjoy your reunion with your best friend and sister. May you find eternal happiness in each other’s company.
There will be a visitation and prayer gathering for family and friends to honor Emily and her life from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., on Friday, May 30, 2025 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 6622 Haskell Street in Houston, Texas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., on Saturday, May 31, 2025, also at St. Theresa Catholic Church. In Emily’s honor and in lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the www.ulf.org (United Leukodystrophy Foundation - Vanishing White Matter Disease).
