Edward James Tobola's Obituary
Edward Tobola was born September 14, 1944, in Halletsville, Texas, to Julius and Mary Tobola. He graduated from Yoakum High School and later worked for Yoakum Printing before moving to Houston. There, he worked at Central Freight Lines for 34 years before retiring.
Edward is survived by his wife of 56 years, Delores; his daughter, Nicole Cain; her husband, Craig Cain; and his son, David Tobola. He had 4 grandchildren—Braden Tobola, Austin Cain, Mackenzie Cain, and Avery Tobola. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Mary Ann Tobola, and numerous nieces and nephews. Edward is preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Mary Tobola, sister Lily Kusak, and brothers Willie Tobola and Julius Tobola.
A graveside service will be held at noon on June 27, 2026, at Salem Lutheran Cemetery, located at 23555 ½ Lutheran Cemetery Road, Tomball, Texas. Lutheran Church Road dead ends at the cemetery. Celebration of life to follow at the Tobola house located at 21619 Fearless Drive, Hockley, Texas 77447.
