We are truly greatful for his medical attention given to our new born son Jeff in 1970, and until Dr Eddie left Fredericton. Jeff was born with club feet also.

I have wonderful and fond memories of Dr. George and his beautiful wife Kathy from their days in Fredericton when I babysat for them and had a wonderful connection with the George family through St. Dunstan's church. He was a kind and gentle soul and had a committed love to God. Sending my most sincere condolences to his family. Rest peacefully Dr. George.
DEAR FANILY, FRIENDS AND COLLEGUES OF DR. EDDIE GEORGE. My sincere condolences and sympathy as you travel this sad journey and celebrate the amazing life of Dr. Eddie George. I have left Fredericton many years ago--but I remember Eddie and his drum concerts in the 1960 s. Brother Tony was our Latin proff in FHS. I really feel , that new Canadians in 2024 would do well -to achieve, even a quarter of the success in building a new life in Canada -- and, can only hope to gain the love of Fredericton---the way the whole City loved and respected ,all the George Family. May Dr. Eddy rest in peace--May his memory be a blessing.

To the Family of Dr. George
I remember 'seeing this person around' when I was a teenager. He was three years older than I.
I have a physician friend who was at Dalhousie Medical School when they were both medical students. My friend was telling me once about the rigor of medical study, and that occasionally there was temptation to drop out. He said 'Eddie George packed his bags three times'.
The world can be grateful that he didn't pack them and follow through.

Deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my old high school and university buddy. Although we had lost contact over the intervening years, the memories of those great “old days” come flooding back. Wonderful to hear of his Christian commitment - when it’s all been said and done, that’s all that really matters. See you soon my friend

I recently learned of Dr George's passing. He was an inspiration and a mentor to me in my younger days.
He taught me many things about life, that to this day, I remember and keep dear to my heart. He had a kind and loving soul and I am so sorry for our loss.
Thank you Frank for your very thoughtful note. I remember visiting your deli near Hobby airport and loved looking at all the photos on your wall from your ski vacations. After we would accompany dad for his rounds, we always asked to go to Mandola’s deli and I loved watching how you both interacted.
Dear Mrs. George and Family,
I am so sorry you lost your dear husband and father. I met Dr. George when I worked at Memorial Southeast Hospital. He was a wonderful doctor who was so kind to his patients and the staff. He never seemed to be in a bad mood. But we were also neighbors and had a mutual dear friend Doti Sawyer (remember the beer bread and cream pies?). You lived in Bay Oaks and John and I were nearby in Bay Forest. We helped you with protecting your plumbing during a freeze one winter. One Christmas Eve when I was working at the hospital and my husband was home splitting logs a piece of metal broke off the wedge he was using and it traveled through 2 sweatshirts and hit an artery. A friend brought him to the hospital and you treated John. You had to cut into his skin to find the sliver of metal, remove it and suture him back up. We were so grateful you were available to help us.
I wish I had known you were living in Katy and we also live in Katy now. It would have been nice to visit with you once again. We left the Clear Lake area to live overseas for 13years for John's work and when we returned we relocated to Katy and sold our house in Clear Lake. Your children were so handsome and lovely and I am sure they all have families of their own now and are successful. I will cherish my fond memories. Rest in peace dear Dr. George.
Sincerely,
Nancy and John Rebeck

What a great man, and profound influence on my life. I’m very lucky to have him as such a big part of my life while growing up. He will always hold a special place in my heart.
Our prayers and deepest condolences to you Derek and the entire George family.
