Her daughter, Ashlee
Mom, how do I ever thank you for being my Mom and teaching me such a broad scheme of things. Now that I've been without you for almost 4 months, I can't believe I have to walk this earth without you. I've heard so many times that the love from your mother is our first love. And how very true that is. What I miss the most is "Hi sweetheart, how are you doing?". But God was gracious enough for me to hear her one last time tell me " I love you" and what a merciful gift that was.
So many knew her as the kind and loving friend that she was and she was that among countless other gifts she shared.
All of that was a piece of my Mom and I admired her for it. But all that mattered to me was she was simply my Mom and an amazing one at that. She taught me the importance of being a loving and supportive wife, the sacrifices that you make as a mom, how to make a home a home, how to host a good gathering, to take pride in your appearance and above all, how to love and serve God's kingdom.
Mom, I promise to honor you with my life, my family and my choices.
Thank you Mom for loving me like no other and showing me the purest of love!
I'll meet you at heavens gates
