Like so many others whose stories I've read about him over the last two weeks, Dakota came into my life just when I needed him, just when I needed someone fun and wonderful to help me become the person I am today. I had the privilege of living with him as an undergraduate student, and I will always hold dear our random singing sessions and late night coffee dates to gossip and unwind after long days.
