melissa hender lit a candleI am so sorry for your loss. Bernadette was my therapist/nurse and was 100% dedicated to the profession. She and I grew close together and she provided such support to me in every way. She was honest and so caring and provided me with strength to follow through with legal issues etc...
I am saddened, as I was not aware she had cancer but I know she is up in Heaven looking down with a smile, telling all to live life to the fullest with no regrets.
Again, my condolences to all of her family members, friends and to all whose life she touched in a special way. I will miss you Bernadette.

Sara Douthett Wood lit a candleBernadette was a friendly and happy person, and she loved her family, and loved being a psychiatric nurse practitioner. I remember one year she gave me a couple National Geographic books about the national parks, because she knew I loved exploring them. I sent her some decorative cats, because I knew she loved cats and I think she fostered many of them. I will miss talking with her. She made the world a better place.
