Arthur Earl Wright's Obituary
Arthur Earl Wright, born March 9, 1930 in Grandview, Arkansas to Clarence A. Wright and Blodwin Jane Wright passed away on April 9, 2017 in Houston, Texas.
Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his wife Donna L. Wright of Muskogee Oklahoma, sister Berniece Sanders of Modesto, California, brother Owen Wright of Blackfoot, Idaho.
Arthur (Art) is survived by sister Louise Keslar of Sacramento California, daughter Kathy Harlan-Wright of Waco Texas, son James Bruner of Tulsa Oklahoma and son Steven Wright of Houston Texas, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He was known by many as the pharmacist behind Wright Drug Company in Muskogee, Oklahoma which he owned and managed for 25 years. His wit and humor and knowledge made him someone customers trusted and a boss that employees admired.
Art served in the Navy stationed at Coronado Naval Base in San Diego California before attending pharmacy school in Little Rock, Arkansas. He met his future wife Donna in Rogers, Arkansas and was married in 1957.
Private services will be held at St. Dominic Village in Houston, Texas on April 20, 2017, at 2401 Holcombe Blvd, Houston, Texas 77021.
